Mary Vivian Schott (MV) is an aspiring artist, photographer and entrepreneur. Growing up Mary Vivian faced many physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges. Creating art was a means to express herself, to communicate, build her confidence and develop self-esteem. Her art allowed her to embrace her challenges and overcome obstacles.
M.V. chose to attend college at The School of Visual Arts and there she began to explore new worlds of art mediums. She later decided to transfer to Manhatanville College and earned a B.F.A. in Studio Art in January 2022. One course, Fashion, Art and Design, inspired her to begin sewing. This class encouraged her to learn a new skill and launch Piper’s Pawcases. The praise for her scrunchies, pillowcases, infinity scarfs and dog bandanas continue to help her meet her challenges.
